Over-Research - September 2020
Photos I took in 2020 during the pandemic after I heard the term over-research for the first time.

Keeping up with news is important, but too much of it can often cause more harm than good. News tend to mainly focus on bad information, to keep people watching. Constantly surrounding ourselves with this negativity influences our mental health. A recent survey showed that 1 in 10 Americans check the news at least once per hour, even though news make them feel more stressed and anxious. This year in particular, mental health is decreasing around the globe, much of which comes from uncertainty and lack of control because of the pandemic. Constantly watching the news only increases the stress and anxiety many people already feel, so being responsible on how and how much news we consume is more important than ever.
